    Interesting podcast.

You have over 5000 facebook likes. Kuala Lumpur is your Most Popular City, which is probably fake accounts! Not as your choice of course.

How do you build a genuine community?

      Interesting comment.

I’d probably think the same thing if I were you, except that I know those are legit people and I’m not so quick to make negative assumptions about other people’s businesses or other parts of the world.

Kuala Limpur is the capital of Malaysia and there are insurance agents there. For reasons I can’t control, a bunch of them follow my Facebook page.

(I think they’re mostly from Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad and I think there’s a manager or executive over there that shared a bunch of my stuff about a year ago and that’s what started it.)

I’d probably be skeptical myself if I hadn’t personally seen all those new likes, gone out to their profiles and saw that they were, indeed, real insurance salespeople.

If you want to build a genuine community you can listen to the advice I already gave. It’s genuine, just like my followers.

You’re welcome for all the free help.

    Hi John,

Apologies if I sounded negative. I hit send before having a chance to word my comment properly. I’m sure your followers are genuine, even if you paid for followers (not saying you did).

I say this because of this video (don’t how relevant this is)

5000 likes is amazing. Even if an executive shared your content in Malaysia, I would have still presumed the USA being your biggest social media users due to the general size of the market. Whilst Malaysia has a strong presence of personal and commercial lines but America is still stronger.

Your content is good and thanks for sharing.
